In the meantime the private insurance companies continue to rake in record profits, that have increased by over 400% in the past 6 years. Hospital administration positions have increased 3000% in the past decade, while doctors have increased by just 200%. Private insurance companies continue to take 30% of the money we give them and spend it on advertising and bonuses. Saipan is Chamorro. Other flags have flown there but it belongs to the Chamorro people. It was claimed by Spain in the 1600s and ended up in German hands in the late 1800s. Germany lost her Pacific territories after WWI and it was awarded to Japan by the League of Nations in 1922. In the 1930s Saipan was heavily fortified and garrisoned by the Japanese- against the League of Nations mandate. The native Chamorro were used as slave labor for construction and to run sugarcane plantations and mills. Many Japanese civilians were moved onto the island for skilled labor and because there was land but they were in NO WAY NATIVE to Saipan. Native Chamorro that could fled the gentle embrace of Japanese occupation and went to Guam.Nearby Guam was a US territory and was never fortified according to League of Nations rules. When the Japanese landed in 1941, the heaviest weapon on the island were .30 caliber machine guns owned by the Marine garrison.

“Something I'm curious about...if all else fails, could the robotic arm somehow be used in the extrication process? Perhaps as leverage pushing down against the ground to tilt the rover to a more level position, or maybe even to help literally drag it out of the hole? I realize they're two entirely different types of machines, but I've seen stuck backhoes/excavators become unstuck by using the bucket arm in such manners.
