Furthermore, people diagnosed with a depressive disorder aren't depressed every single minute of every single day. They will have moments where they are enjoying themselves; however, those moments occur less frequently than they would in "normal" person's life. I have no idea whether the woman from the article is "faking" like many here are suggesting, but the fact that she was pictured "having fun" doesn't necessarily mean that she is faking having depression.
